I have done 2 different  research in this unit and they are both secondary research and primary research , they are helpful research what as helped me for my final piece for the creatures unit.The  creature  from harry potter inspired a lot because the textual and the detail showing on the creature helped me for my own creatures. .The stonebraige city farm wasn't that much inspiring for me as I have been to the farm  before, but seeing new animal then the previews one help me created my own  creature.

My idea was to create my own creatures  with the  montage technique in  photoshop .I will chosen 6's animal  and  2 background pictures from the harry potter trip for  my broad game box cover .I  have used new techniques for my montage creature so I can make something different from my previews works.I  have done some research on the information so I can add it to my box. If I created the infromation for the box it would of wasted my  time doing it  myself.I wanted to make something similar kind to the  3 head dog  from harry potter what is my favourite montage out of my 3,  because it had a  differ net personally then the other creatures I have created.I like the horse Montage as it had more effect and more detail then the other montages.I have chosen 2 background because  one of them are for the  side-broad and  the other would be  use for background it self . I have used the curves  and level to make the background more darken then it actually is.

·         What animals at the farm did you focus upon and why? Did the shots you achieved at the farm match those in your 

I have took more picture of the chickens and ducks more then the  other animals, as I was active toward the chickens and ducks more as they have very good body usement on my montage work. I didn't need the  chickens in my montage,  but I did need the ducks as they had  better quilty picture then the chicken images.I have  took picture of the cow but never used the images for my montage   but I did take the picture incase I did need it for my montage or for a  back-up plan for my montage.The horese, pig ,ram,duck and goat did  achieved very well  for my montage. I have took very good picture of the animals on the  farm.

proposal? What shots did you achieve at Harry Potter World and how were these used in your board game design?

They were good images ,but some of them were too dark for my camera on my phone  and I should have took my video camera in stead of using my camera phone.I have took plenty of pictures  for the background of the box, but they was hard to choice which of the pictures I could of  chosen for my background. I have decided to  use the castle more then the  others  images because  it was used well with the curves  and levels in Photoshop.It had suited with the   montage's cretaure more then it did on a  blanket  A3 (Photoshop sheet size )  .I did choice  two picture because  it went well   with the creatures. I have also  used it as a side broad image for my box .Has their are some boardgames who  do have thoses kind  of  layout for there broad game boxes as the  background.

• Photography. What did you have to take into account, ie, lighting, location, animals and HP world

I have used iSO 100 for the farm animals as it was a cloudy day.I also used the progam setting  in the colleges camera, what was on a aperture setting . I have aslo used the  white blanace to see which is a  better quilty  pictures of the animals. The loction was  at stonebriage city farm what was a 10-15 mins walk from the college.I have  took plenty of images from the farm, but I wish that I've could of took pictures of the rabbits and other animals inside the barn, as it could of made more of a veriety of imgaes  for my montage  work.The Harry potter world  I have use iSO what it have look like it was a  100 or less because some  of the  quietly of the images wasn't that good. In Each stages of the Harry Potter tour, it had  different light and dark air what was quiet difficult to keep playing with the  white balance ,as I could of used a better camera then  my phone.

• What Photoshop editing processes did you use to produce your final three creatures?

I have done my three creatures on 2 different Photoshop software.What  are called CCS (new version )and CS2(old version) what had  different ways of editing and tools,but they are   related in some way .I did one of montages creature  at home because  I didn't had another time  to do it in class and I had took my time  on editing my Creatures so I can make it into a  merit stranded level.I have used the  pen tool to cut out parts of the animals, what had felt  like I was doing surgery on the animals what felt kind of weird doing the edit on the  animal  , I have also used the  add layer mask what was quite helpful to do my creature.where I can remove some parts of the montage creature  and added  back on the creature what was kind of  fun using the tool . I also been using  some of the old techniques like  curves and levels what made the  animals look they were in a newspaper or creating a piece of art work.I have also used the distort tool toward the  stylise tool on the CS2 as the tools are kind of weird way to use them  . I have added some lensing  flares and lighting tool  for the  eyes , legs and many more  parts of the animals I have done sceenshot of my editing what shows how I created them .

·         What would you do differently next time and what did yo

I would of used a better camera then my phone.To not behind on mt unit  to much  to catch up  with work more faster.I most  remember to take screenshot when I'm doing the work not going backwards and taking screenshots as it was wasting time on my work.

·         In your opinion, does your final image meet the assignment brief and your original proposal?

I like my broad game cover box's design a lot as it is one of my best work I have done so far . The slogan and The title makes it  suited with  the  box what makes shout out  towards the audines I am aiming at  .I hate doing contact sheet the most as I after type up anations of my images and I did struggle with it a lot .I have  kept with my proposal this time then my  film noir proposal, because it was more easy doing it after I have  done my final piece because I know what I can write up  about my work  then doing.

I have created my game broad into Photoshop ,as well using camera from my phone and colleges camera for the images. I have then made  3 montage created with the  farm animal picture. I did two at college and 1 at home as i got Photoshop at home ,but it is the old version of Photoshop.I then chooses two backgrounds. I use the curves and level for the background to make it go with the creature. I.I then went onto google to added some titles and barcode  , because i  cannot make them in Photoshop and it  a lot tidder. The black and grey parts are the the folded part for the box and you don't get mix  up with the actual broad game.

I am intend to create a design for harry potter board games.

I have been doing some research on Stonebridge city farm, as I'm going to take some images of different animals on the farm, I then will use Photoshop to edit my farm animals into a montage creature. I will be making 3 creature from 6 animals.

I am going to the harry potter studies to take some images of the set and other stuff there. I am go to use the images as my background game broad cover, I will take as many pictures as I can. I will be doing some research on harry potter creature and character from the movies. I will search up previews broad games what been created. They are secondary and primary research I am go to be doing for this project. I will be researching the layouts of the game broad what can help with my final piece

All of the research will help me decide what to put on my broad game cover and some have inspired me for my secondary research, what will help me with the broad game cover and the creatures, what will go with the broad game cover.

I will do a risk assessment on the farm, because of the safety for myself and the equipment I will be taking with me on the farm. I’m go to create a contact sheet for my farm animals and harry potter world. What will help me to decide what images I will be using and where I have be going wrong on the shots and angles of the animals?

I will be using Photoshop to create my contact sheets what are going to have 10 photo on each sheet on Photoshop. I will also use a Photoshop to edit my creatures on Photoshop what I will be using the tools like,the  curving  tool and the level tool. I will be using the pen tool to cut out parts of the animals like legs, head and ears. I will using Photoshop to edit my background with the curves and level to make it  more  brighter or to make it more  darker for my creature to go into. I will be taking screenshots of my editing  so I can show you how I created my  creature with the curves and level and the other  tool in Photoshop I will be using in my editing.

Creature 1 :(demon horse )

I like this creature s it makes it really creepy and unquice  the way i edit the animals.I have used the horse head ,goat eye ,rams body and pigs leg . I have use different tools and old version of Photoshop to edit my creature,I would of took better picture or chose different picture ,as i didn't get the full head of the house and made look like i killed the horse with my camera.I edit them on each differnet layers . I used the .

I create this because it is kind of smilar with the three headed dogs in the harry potter movies .I change the eye around to make the duck look different with different personalty and  looks of the duck.I used the add layer mask to remove part images and add part back. The tool was very helpful because it help me what to do with the images and what not to do.I wish I could of added the neck toward my  creature ,as the neck doesn't fit with the  duck heads and the goat body. I also added a pig eye one the ducks because to make differnet from the other ducks.

Creature 3 :( neon pig alike)

I don't like this one much as the  other  two cretaure ,as i could of done better with the creature ,as it looks to much on the cretaure  and i should made it simple alike and look more animal like.I should  make it more tidy around the animal  cut out ,as it kind of look messy and untidy for the creatur. 

I have use the  hue tool for the pigs head what imistakewish i hadn't done it as it does really look right with the body of a duck .On the duck body I used the level and curves to make it fit with the pig head, but it doesn't relly fit well with the body.I use ram leg what i could cut it out more tiddyer and more carefully,as it would made look like ram leg and more fitting towards my creature.
